About  Me

Passionate About Helping Others

In 2013, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After my year of treatment, I became familiar with facing my end of life and of living my life differently. Although the changes cancer brought me are many, the fear I was going to leave things unsaid, and unplanned changed my way of thinking about my relationships with people and my relationship with things.

After the death of my dear mother in law followed quickly by two close friends, I discovered something about myself I was not aware of. I was "good at death". I was comfortable with the uncomfortable, and I was drawn to those affected by death. The before, during, and after death. My training to become a Death Doula was life changing. It lead me to what is important to me. Helping others and helping others with death, dying and bereavement.
